1. Eligibility
Give Away is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Entry is contingent on ability to personally drop off entry. Entry by mail, e-mail, and any means other than “in-person” is prohibited. The STOWE GIVE AWAY is not open to: (a) employees of The Stowe Mountain Resort, Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Inc., or any other member of the Stowe Area Association, (b) their immediate family members of or persons residing in the same household as those persons identified in (a) above. Each winner is subject to proof of eligibility. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. How To Enter
Participants may enter by filling out the entry form located on this web site. Entries are limited to a total of one (1) per person. The Stowe Area Association will reject any subsequent entries having the same a duplicate name. Participants must complete all required data requested on the entry form. Incomplete or in accurate entry forms are void. Entries that have been tampered with or altered are void. The Stowe Area Association is not responsible for entries that are corrupted or otherwise illegible. The Stowe Area Association is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries. No entries will be accepted after 3:00pm (EST) on June 11th, 2008. All entries shall become the sole property of The Stowe Area Association and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering participants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Entry into this STOWE GIVE AWAY authorizes The Stowe Area Association to add participant information into the GIVE AWAY database. We will not give or sell your information to others without your permission.

3. Selecting the Winner
A STOWE GIVE AWAY commences on June 13th, 2008 and ends on June 22nd, 2008. The Stowe Area Association will randomly draw one (1) name from all entries received on or before June 11th, 2008. The total number of eligible entries received will determine the odds of winning. The GIVE AWAY winner will be notified in writing on or before January 9, 2005. Upon notification, the winner must respond by telephone (at 802-253-7321) to confirm identity and eligibility. If there is no response from the potential winner by February 6, 2005, or the potential winner fails to properly confirm their identity, an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. The STOWE GIVE AWAY items are estimated at a value of $850.

4. Additional Terms and Conditions
The GIVE AWAY prize is non-transferable. No cash will be awarded. The Stowe Area Association will make arrangements for the fulfillment of the prize. Tax and gratuity is not included in the grand prize. The GIVE AWAY winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of The Stowe Area Association,

The value of the prizes may be taxable as income. Upon receipt of the GIVE AWAYprize, the winner is required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local tax laws and pay all such taxes as becomes due with respect to the GIVE AWAY prize. The winner will agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Stowe Area Association, its employees and agents from and against any liability for such taxes. Winners agree to adhere to laws of STOWE GIVE AWAY as governed by the state of Vermont.

Any violation of these official rules by the winner will result in the winner’s disqualification as winner of the GIVE AWAY and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated. The Stowe Area Association reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the STOWE GIVE AWAY; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules. If for any reason the STOWE GIVE AWAY is not capable of running as planned, including the loss of entries by participants, or any other causes beyond the control of The Stowe Area Association, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this STOWE GIVE AWAY, The Stowe Area Association reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the GIVE AWAY.

By participating in the GIVE AWAY, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of The Stowe Area Association, which are final in all matters relating to this GIVE AWAY.
